Paul Burriesci of Norwalk, CT went home to his Lord and Savior on December 3, 2018. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Paul was born in Stamford CT on July 2, 1937 to the late Giuseppe and Frances Burriesci of Holly Place. He was the owner and operator of Holly Press, in Stamford for over 60 years.
Paul was known for his generous nature, always willing to give a job or helping hand to those in need. He had a playful and mischievous personality and will be remembered fondly by many. His prized possession was his Candy Apple Red 46 Ford Mercury. Paul loved and enjoyed all gatherings with his family and friends. Since his retirement, Paul enjoyed socializing with his friends on Lafayette and Main, and spending time at Penny’s Diner in Norwalk. Paul was a member of the Word Alive Bible Church in Norwalk and enjoyed his fellowship with Lead Pastor Artie church community.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Marilyn (Carroll) Burriesci, 3 children Maryellen (David) Gurski of New Milford, Joseph (Marianne) Burriesci of Byron, Illinois and Jerry Burriesci of Stamford. 7 Grandchildren: Alexandra (Louie), Amanda (Miniature Paul), Allyson (Queen Bee) and Paul Burriesci of Byron Illinois. Stephii and Taylor Hildebrandt, Natalie Gurski of New Milford and 2 Great Grandchildren Kyler and Daniel. 2 sisters, Mildred Mallozzi of Stamford and Helene Beck of Florida. And several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Burriesci was predeceased by his brothers James, Giacomo (Jack) and Anthony Burriesci, his sister, Josephine Meyers and his beloved grandson Daniel Hildebrandt.
There will be no calling hours. A springtime memorial service will be planned. If you wish to remember Paul a donation can be made in his name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
