MSG Thomas M. Myslinski

MSG Thomas M. Myslinski, 75, of Norwalk, passed away on November 19, 2018, at Norwalk Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Norwalk on May 10, 1943, the son of the late Albert and Ann (Morgan) Myslinski, he was the husband of Ginger (Lengyel) Myslinski for 54 years. He proudly served in the Connecticut National Guard for 29 years and later worked for the Norwalk Board of Education.

Thomas is also survived by his children, Ann Thompson and husband Mick, Mark Myslinski, and Matthew Myslinski and his wife Maria all of Norwalk. He was the grandpa to four grandchildren; Alex and Andrew Thompson and twins Virginia and Nora Myslinski. He also leaves behind two brothers, Peter Myslinski of Milford and John Myslinski of Oakland Park, Florida.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1253, serving as Grand Knight for several years and as a special minister at St. Thomas the Apostle. He enjoyed watching sports, working in his garden and cooking.

His family will receive friends on Friday, November 23, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 24, at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue, Norwalk. Burial with military honors will follow at St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Saint Vincent De Paul Society at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, www.foodpantries.org or Boys Town, www.boystown.org.
