Clara M. Colabella, 94, wife of the late Nicholas J. Colabella, Sr. of Norwalk passed away on Monday, July 9, surrounded by her family.
Born in Norwalk on April 10, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina (Vena) DeMartino.
Clara is survived by three grandchildren; Darlene M. Galeano, Melanie D. Flynn and Nicholas J. Colabella III, six great grandchildren; Jessica C. Benitez, Stephanie M. Flynn, Kevin G. Flynn, Michael C. Flynn, Angelina S. Colabella and Isabella M. Colabella, two great great grandchildren; Mya and Gia Benitez. She is also survived by her brother Joseph Colabella.
In addition to her husband Nicholas, Clara is predeceased by her children Nicholas J. Colabella Jr. and Donna P. Colabella, and by her brother Ralph DeMartino.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 13, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, 85 South Main Street, Norwalk. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 12, at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk.
