John Staff, age 68, passed away on June 26, 2018 at St. Raphael’s Hospital. John leaves behind his wife of 46 years, his rock, and his best friend, Lynn Staff, along with his daughter Stacey Wood, her husband Nicholas Wood, and their sons Brycen, Tyler and Carter, as well as his youngest daughter Erin Becker and her husband Gavin Becker. John is pre-deceased by his son, Kirk Staff and his father, Jack Staff. John attended Western New England University, and had a long career in manufacturing management. When he was younger, John was an avid softball, golf and paddle tennis player, as well as consistently being a wonderful father to his children Kirk, Stacey and Erin. John loved a few simple things – a good nap on the beach, the Yankees, and long nights laughing with good friends and family. John was both sweet and quick with a joke, as well as one of the most resilient and laidback men you could encounter. John will be remembered, missed and loved by his mother Jane Staff, his sister Mary Jane McGoldrick, his brothers Michael and Peter Staff, along with multitudes of nieces, nephews and friends that love him like family.
A memorial visitation will be held at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06851 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Friday June 29, 2018. A prayer service will be celebrated at 11:30 AM following the visitation.
