Mr. John (Junior) A.Cutrone, Jr. .passed away peacefully on February 3, 2018 at Autumn Lake in Norwalk, Connecticut. He was 89 years old.
Born on May 5, 1928 in Norwalk, CT, he was the son of the late John A. and Columbia (Fallo) Cutrone.
John attended Norwalk High School, class of 1946; and Attended Rider College, class of 1949. John served in the military, U.S. Air Force and was given an honorable discharge in1952. He worked as an accountant at Schick Razor and also for the family business, the Mid Town Restaurant. John also worked at the former Mott Ford as sales manager. He opened Jr’s Old Midtown until his retirement.
John was a devout Catholic, a lifelong Yankee fan and an avid Gin player. He loved being with his family and he also loved animals; his face lit up anytime he was around them.
Survivors include his two sons; John A. Cutrone, III, Frank H. Cutrone and his wife Terriann, his brother, Nick Cutrone, grand daughter, Katie Cutrone and nephew John Cutrone and his wife Suzanne.
He was also predeceased by his wife Betty Jane (Mace) Cutrone, a daughter Debra Columbia Cutrone and sister-in-law Shirley Cutrone.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, February, 8, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 9th at 10 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Ave., Norwalk.
