Margaret Ann Krois

Margaret Ann “Penny” Krois, 69, wife of John J. Krois of Norwalk, passed away on Tuesday,
January 16, 2018, at the Norwalk Hospital.
Born in Port Chester, NY, on January 25, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and
Elizabeth (Brown) Curtin. She was a graduate of Greenwich High School and Grasslands School
of Nursing in Valhalla NY. She was married to John on September 5, 1970 and after a career of
nursing, she was a pillar of Bible studies for St. Matthew Church. She loved crafting and reading
books.
In addition to her husband of 47 years, John, Margaret Ann is survived by her brother Thomas
Curtin of Port Chester NY, son Matthew of Norwalk and his wife Megan, grandchildren
Alexander and Abigail. She is predeceased by her sister Catherine Ford of Virginia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 27, at 10:00 AM at St.
Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Avenue, Norwalk. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew Church.
