Norwalk resident, Anastasia Bozou, 92, wife of the late Stavros Bozos, of Greece, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Norwalk Hospital.
Born in Russia May 10, 1924 she was daughter of the late Aristides and Eleni Efstathiadis Exoudis. She moved to Greece in the early 40’s and moved to America in 1963. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Athanasia Ioannidis (Savvas) and son, Ioannis Bozos (Ourania) and by her six grandchildren, Paresa Robledo (David), Ioannis Ioannidis, Anastasia Kodonas (Ioannis), Eleni Bozos (Panagiotis), Stavros Bozos (Yenovefa) and Ioanna Bozos (Petros). She is also survived by her 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews as well as her sister, Parthena Bellios. She was predeceased by her other sisters Elisavet, Despina and Sophia.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, March 20th at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 238 West Rocks Road, Norwalk, from 5 pm to 8 pm. Services are Monday, March 21st at 10 am at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Richards Avenue, Norwalk.
