Alfred C. Jackson, Sr.

Alfred “Al” Clarence Jackson, Sr. 83, of Norwalk, CT, died peacefully on March 13, 2016.
Born in Norwalk on April 25, 1932, he was the son of the late Clarence Alfred and Florence Jackson.
Al Married Flossie Harriet Thompson on April 30, 1956. They had two children, a daughter Mildred who passed at birth and a son Alfred “AJ” Jackson.
Al worked many places in his life, the Potato Chip Company, City of Norwalk, and many of the Norwalk Schools. He loved going to the car shows with his “57 Chevy”.
Al leaves behind his son Alfred Jackson of Shelton, CT, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and daughter, Al was predeceased by his brothers Howard, Walter, Edward, Art and by his sister Mildred Jackson.
Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, March 17, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk. Services will be held on Friday, March 18, at 10:00 AM at Collins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Harvester Road, Easton, CT.
