Anthony J. Patalano, Sr., “Mr. Pat”, passed from this world early the morning of June 10, 2017, at the Regional Hospice and Family Care Center, Danbury, CT.
Tony was predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years, Midge, his parents Bartolomeo and Louise and sisters Anna and Yolanda.
Tony is survived by his children Anthony Patalano, Jr. (Jeanne), Chris Patalano (Susan), Daniel Patalano (Irene), and Grace Geanuracos (Gregg) as well as 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Tony was born in Ischia, South of Naples, Italy. He resided in Norwalk for 82 years until he moved to Danbury to be near his daughter. Tony was a member of the “Greatest Generation” having served in the U. S. Navy from 1944-1946.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 14, at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas The Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue, Norwalk. Entombment will follow at St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM in the Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk.
