Theresa Nayagam 83, of Norwalk, died Friday, December 9th in Norwalk Hospital.
Born in Rangoon, Burma, March 2, 1933, she was daughter of the late P.M. Nayagam and A. Mary Nayagam. She was a Norwalk resident since 1990. Theresa also known as Stella to her close family and friend was an active member of St. Mary Parish and a faithful parishioner.
Survivor include one brother, Augustine Anthony, of Madras, India. Additionally, she is survived by 11 nephews, 13 nieces and 22 grand-nieces and nephews in United States and Burma.
Theresa is predeceased by her three brothers, M.A. Dawson, and Joseph and Robert Anthony, and by her three sisters Philomena Richard, Grace Anthony and Clara Mary Anthony.
Theresa devoted her life to her family by raising, supporting and providing guidance to her loved ones. She was everyone’s mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Theresa was truly a beautiful person inside and out that gave unconditional love and support to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by all.

Family and Friends may visit Sunday, December 11th, from 4:00pm to 8:00 PM in Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 12th, in St. Mary Church, 669 West Avenue, Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk.
