Theresa Marie Miller, 91, of Norwalk, wife of the late James J. Miller, Sr., died peacefully, while on vacation, on Sunday, November 20, 2016.
Born in Leominster, Mass., May 26, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Amedee and Regina Metivier. Mrs. Miller was a quality control inspector at the former Norden Division of United Technologies and Norfield Electronics. She enjoyed her family, traveling, knitting, sewing and listening to good music.
Survivors include her children; Sandy Vallieres and her husband Larry, of Old Saybrook, Karen Daon and husband George, of Norwalk, Mary Leonard and husband Jon, of Hilton Head, So. Carolina, Jim Miller and his wife Sandy, of Colchester, eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Theresa is predeceased by all of her siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, November 26th,, at 11:30 A. M. in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
Friends may call prior to Mass at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, from 9:00 to 11:00 A. M.
