Robert (Bobby) Marcucilli, 71, retired house painting contractor from Norwalk CT and former Harrison NY, Port Chester NY & Greenwich CT resident died Wednesday July 29, 2020, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Bobby was born September 21, 1948, in Port Chester, NY to Armand (Monte) and Grace Barletta Marcucilli. He grew up in Harrison, NY graduating High School in 1966.
He enlisted in the Army in September of 1966. He served in Germany and Vietnam in the 25th Infantry Division.
He married Wendy Wuorinen Marcucilli of Rye Brook, NY on August 21, 1972.
Bob’s passions were his impeccably kept gardens, his massive Lionel train layout, cooking and his family and friends. He was a devoted Husband, Dad & Grandpa. He enjoyed attending his granddaughters activities and sports games.
Besides his wife of 48 years, Wendy Marcucilli, he is survived by his 2 sons and their spouses Jason and Charissa Marcucilli of Norwalk, CT and Paul Marcucilli and Camilla Drozd of San Francisco, CA; his precious Granddaughters Jordan and Olivia who were the light of his life; Brother Ted and his wife Kelly Marcucilli of Harrison NY; Sister Rosanna and her husband Rick Johnston of Ridgefield, CT; plus numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends whom he loved.
Friends may call, Wednesday August 5th from 5-8pm at Collins Funeral Home 92 East Ave, Norwalk, CT. A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00am Thursday 8/6. Interment with full military honors will follow at 1:00 pm at State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane Middletown, CT.
