Marilyn Frances (Muller) Taskalos, 69 of Vero Beach, Florida went to her eternal rest on Tuesday, June 2, 2020.
She was born to the late Robert and Frances Muller on May 12, 1951 in Yonkers, New York. Marilyn graduated from Charles E. Gorton High School in 1969; earned her Bachelor’s degree from Good Counsel College, White Plains, New York and a Master’s degree from Iona College, New Rochelle, New York. She married the late James N. Taskalos in 1997 and they lived together in Yorktown Heights, New York, before retiring and relocating to Vero Beach in 2005.
Marilyn worked in corporate America for such prestigious firms as Johnson & Johnson, Kraft/General Foods and PepsiCo, Inc. She was a multi-talented business woman who went on to work on the advertising agency side of the marketing world with renown clients such as Seagram’s and Godiva.
Marilyn had a great sense of humor and was incredibly generous to family and friends. She was an avid New York Giants and Yankees fan and her tailgate parties were legendary. Marilyn also loved to travel and enjoyed many fabulous cruises with her husband, but her favorite vacation destination was Hawaii.
Marilyn is survived by her brother, Robert and Sister-in-law, Donna of Connecticut; stepsons James, David, Brian, and Daniel; step-grandchildren Nicholas, Andrew and Emily.
Services were held at the Cox-Gifford/Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach, FL. Private services will also be held at the Collins Funeral Home in Norwalk, CT.
