Ekaterini Simotas, age 62, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020. She was born May 29th, 1957, in Litochoro, Greece, she emigrated in 1980.
Ekaterini worked at Norwalk Hospital for several years at the “coffee shop” retiring in 1995. She was loved by all the patrons and was known as “Kathy”. Ekaterini was in the choir at Saint George Orthodox Church in Norwalk, Connecticut. Ekaterini was very caring of the needs of others, always helping and uplifting those in difficult times, she treated everyone like family. She was a joyful and loving mother who had a love of gardening and was deeply religious with a special devotion to the saints and angels.
Ekaterini is survived by her husband of 46 years Christos, son Prodromos “Mike” and his wife Chrysana, daughter Konstantia, grandson Christian, a brother Andreas and his wife Paula and a sister Fotoula in Greece, as well as by many cousins, nieces, and nephews both here and in Greece. Ekaterini is predeceased by her Father Theoharis, and Mother Paraskevi, and her Brother Nicholaos.
Services for Kathy will be held privately.
