Born in Ternopol, Poland (later Ukraine), Peter Bzowycky, ventured to Germany as a teenager after World War II, where he met his future wife, Anneliese, and his lifelong love.

Several years later, he, his wife and daughter, Marianne, immigrated to America seeking a better life, settling in Liverpool, NY, and then, Wilton, CT., where he enjoyed the company of his granddaughter,  Caroline.

Initially, working as a laborer in a steel factory and attending night school to better educate himself, Peter was later employed by New Process Gear and then, Chrysler Corporation as a draftsman. At  Chrysler he was awarded recognition for two patents for interlocking mechanisms.

While much of his life was centered on work and family, he loved music and played the mandolin,  accordion, and the drums. He and his brother, Paul (deceased), who played the violin, never missed an  opportunity to entertain at family gatherings, with niece, Cristine, and nephews, Paul and Dan, and at  Ukrainian events.

Those times form great memories that will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
