Bethann McCann Brown of Norwalk, CT, passed away on Tuesday, May 31st, at Norwalk Hospital in the arms of her strength, best friend and husband Jeff after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She profoundly influenced the lives of all who knew her caring and loving spirit.
Bethann hailed from Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late William and Mary Ellen Doyle McCann. She graduated summa cum laude from Purchase College. An advertising wiz, she worked for top agencies including Deutsch and McCann/Erikson. She volunteered at Norwalk Community Hospital and St. Paul’s on the Green. Bethann was deeply loved and will be mourned by her devoted husband of 25 years, Jeff, faithful companion labs Milo and Zoey, brothers William, Gerard, Brian and Michael and their wives, in-law sibs Wendy, Laurie, Dianne, Bill and Cathy and their husbands and wives, loving nieces and nephews, father-in-law Bill, doting Great Aunt’s, a host of cousins and fabulous loving friends. She touched all our lives with love and grace and lived her life fully with passion.
A celebration of Bethann’s beautiful life will be held at Collin’s Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk on Saturday, June 4th, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to St. Paul’s on the Green or Macedonia Outreach Church in Norwalk.
