Florence R. Wolf, 79, wife of Martin Wolf of Norwalk, passed away Sunday, February 3rd, 2019.
Born October 5th, 1939 in Pittsburgh, PA. She was the daughter of the late Sonia [Weisband] Wilstein.
Florence “Flo” received her RN in 1959 from Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA and spent her career working in maternity and infant care. She worked at Park City Hospital, Bridgeport and at Norwalk Hospital, Norwalk, CT. Flo loved caring for babies, and had a great love of animals. Flo had a warm, nurturing and bright spirit, making a positive impact on everyone she met. Flo loved making jewelry, listening to music, and dancing with her husband. Her pride and joy was her daughters and her family.
She is survived by her husband Martin Wolf, Norwalk, daughters, Jill Friedlander-Hayduk and her husband Robert of Norwalk and Lee Friedlander and her fiancé, Lisa France of Los Angeles, Lisa Wolf and her husband Yehuda Golani of San Francisco, and Miriam Zeevi of Philadelphia; 5 grandchildren, Emily, Ezra, Aviv, Jordan, and August.
Flo was predeceased by her sister Marcia Moretsky.
Services will be held on Tuesday, at 11:00 AM at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave, Norwalk. Interment will follow at Beth El Memorial Park, Richards Avenue, Norwalk.
