Phyllis Marilyn Feinstein (nee Fabel) 85, wife of the late Norton Feinstein, passed away on January 22, 2019 in Hartford, CT. She is formerly of Norwalk, CT.
Born on May 9,1933 in Port Chester, NY, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Jane Fabel.
She is survived by her children Stephen Feinstein (Bonnie) of Avon, CT and Doreen Waver (Michael) of Leander, TX; her four grandchildren Shayna Feinstein-Johnson (Greg Johnson) of Marlton, NJ; Maxwell Feinstein, Sydney Feinstein, and Adam Feinstein; and her brother Bernard Fabel (Loretta) of White Plains, NY. She was predeceased by a brother Herbert Fabel.
She spent her adult life in Norwalk, CT. She was formerly employed by Respiratory Associates of Norwalk, CT. She was a constant figure at the Norwalk Jewish Center playing Mah Jongg. She had a strong love of family. She was the matriarch of the Feinstein family hosting annual holiday gatherings. Wherever she went, she had a smile on her face spreading joy to all.
Services will be held at Collins Funeral Homes, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Beth El Cemetery, Richards Avenue, Norwalk, CT.
