On Monday, October 1, 2018, Patricia Anne Kilfoil Marconi, loving wife, mother of 3 and grandmother of 5 passed away peacefully at the age of 81.
“Patsy” was born on, April 3, 1937 in NYC, NY, to Mary and Robert Walsh. Patsy married her St. Nicholas of Tolentine High School, Bronx NY sweetheart, Aldo Marconi, on June 1, 1957. He predeceased her in 1991. She earned a business degree from Thorpe Secretarial School. She worked over the years at Edgemont HS,NY; at the Medical Society of New York; and as Administrator for the Department of Medicine, New York Medical College and developed one of the first multi-specialty medical practices during her time there. In later years she became a successful realtor in northern California.
After her husband Aldo passed away she returned back east and helped raise her grandchildren as well as work for her children in their respective businesses. She met and married William “Billy” Kilfoil, a lifelong resident of Long Island, who is a father, grandfather and great-grandfather. She resided with Billy on the water in beautiful Port Washington, NY where she lived until about a year ago before becoming ill.
She was a fabulous cook and famous for her cheesecake. She also enjoyed decorating and wrapping beautiful holiday gifts. She enjoyed tap dancing and found great pleasure in entertaining family and friends.
Patsy was preceded in death by her husband Aldo Marconi, parents Mary and Robert Walsh, brothers Raymond and Robert Walsh.
Patsy is survived by her loving husband Billy Kilfoil of Port Washington, NY, her children Dr. Jeanne Marconi and Michael Holloway of Stamford, CT; Peter Marconi of Winter Haven, Fla; Christopher Marconi and Eve Gex of Placerville, CA.; grandchildren Nicole, Alexa and Alec and step-grandchildren Jane and Sam Holloway. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many loving family members and lifelong friends.
Friends may call on Thursday from 2-4PM and from 6-8PM at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Aloysius Church in New Canaan, CT on Friday at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery in New Canaan.
