Yvette Levasseur Kulscar passed away peacefully on March 11, 2018 at Norwalk Hospital surrounded by her family. Mrs. Kulscar was born on July 10,1925 in Lowell Mass to the late Emile and Yvonne Poirier Levasseur. The family moved to Norwalk from Lewiston Maine in the 1930s. She graduated from Norwalk schools attended Norwalk Community College where she loved studying languages, history and literature. She had a great love of God and a special devotion to the Blessed Mother. She loved attending daily Mass at St Jerome, where she was a founding member.
She will be greatly missed by her devoted daughter Maria, her sisters Doris Drew of Norwalk and Lucille Baladino of Barefoot Bay,FL, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by her parents, her husband Albert who passed away in 1990, her daughter Anne Marie who passed in 1971, and brothers Roland and Leon Levasseur. She will also be missed by her beloved cats.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM in St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk.
