Felix C. Rolon, 89, of Norwalk, CT passed away December 21, 2016 at Autumn Lake of Norwalk.
Born December 1, 1927, he was the oldest son of 14 children born to the late Liborio and Candida Colon Rolon. Felix was a resident of Norwalk for 51 years. He brought his wife Ofelia M. Rolon and two young children to Norwalk in the 1960’s and was among the first Hispanics in the City of Norwalk. He was also a longstanding member of John 3:16 Spanish Pentecostal Church on Woodward Ave. and worked alongside Reverend Raymon Figueroa as they founded and built the historic church, welcoming Hispanic families to the community since the early 1960’s. Felix worked at Swanks Crestline until his retirement.
He is survived by his 6 children, Miriam Y. Vega, Ivette Rolon, Felix Rolon Jr., Norma Hugues, Milagros Rolon, Vilma Rolon and 20 grand and great-grandchildren.
