Steve G. Karakasidis, 48, of Norwalk passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 3, 2016.
Steve was born on November 29, 1967 in Norwalk. A life-long resident, he attended local schools, graduating from Brien McMahon High School. He continued his education at Pace University with a BA and MA in Business Administration.
Steve was man filled with love for his family and friends. Steve will be remembered as a caring son and brother. His one true love was his daughter. Their bond as father and daughter put a smile on the faces of everyone who saw them together. Steve is survived by his mother, Eleni Karakasidis of Norwalk, and his sister, Despina Karakasidis of Norwalk. He is also survived by his wife Maria and daughter, Elena of Queens, NY. His memory will be cherished by his extended family and friends. He is predeceased by his father, George Karakasidis.
Friends and family may call on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 238 West Rocks Road, Norwalk. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 11 a.m. in St. George Church. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
